The polymer-coated inner cables reduce the friction surface against the inner liner of the outer cable, which increases transmission efficiency. The grease film is retained for longer. The result is smooth, fast gear shifts and low operating forces.
The set also contains sealed end caps for use on the rear derailleur as well as special end caps with a short sleeve for STI levers, which are essential for optimal shifting performance.
