Continental Terra Competition Race Rapid Gravel Tyre

The Terra Competition is Continental's fast all-road tyre that blurs the line between road and gravel tyres. The Race Rapid version offers you a particularly light race casing and the special Rapid rubber compound for improved acceleration and minimised rolling resistance.

This tyre bears the "Competition" suffix for a reason: It shares its technological DNA with the legendary road bike tyres from the professional peloton. Developed for compacted surfaces such as rough tarmac and light gravel, it is an outstanding partner for modern gravel races where every second counts.

The tread is very flat in the centre to keep rolling resistance on the road to a minimum. The tread opens up towards the sides to give you the necessary lateral support on fast corners off the beaten track.

The Terra Competition has not only been optimised by Conti for optimum grip, but also in the wind tunnel for reduced air resistance to give you an advantage at high speeds.

For the first installation, Continental recommends to use at least 30 ml of Conti RevoSealant (prod. code: 2255637) per tyre. Rotate the tyre or wheel afterwards to distribute the sealant all around. Then inflate the tyre to the maximum recommended pressure. You should check the pressure at regular intervals as well as before your first ride and inflate the tyre if necessary.
