Maxxis HighRoad [Gen.3] TR K2 HYPR Folding Road Tyre

The MAXXIS HighRoad [Gen.3] TR combines a construction designed for speed with the advantages of a tubeless-ready setup for fast rides on a wide variety of road surfaces. The combination of a lightweight turn-up casing and sporty tread design enables efficient rolling behaviour and a precise ride feel.

The turn-up casing consists of a single, overlapping layer of fabric. This construction is designed for a low weight and high adaptability to the surface to improve rolling characteristics, cornering grip and control on different road surfaces.

The HighRoad [Gen.3] TR is therefore suitable for fast training rides as well as for ambitious all-round and racing use on the road.


Technologies:

• K2
K2 is a lightweight and tightly woven protective layer from MAXXIS based on aramid fibres with high puncture and cut resistance. The material promises increased puncture protection, while affecting the properties of the tyre construction as little as possible.

• HYPR Compound
HYPR is a full silica rubber compound from MAXXIS for performance-oriented road bike tyres. Compared to the previous high-performance racing tyre compound, the compound is designed to reduce rolling resistance and improve wet grip without affecting durability in a negative way.

• TUBELESS READY [TR]
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
